Well, some of us won’t give up keeping it alive despite the onslaught. And there is one like-minded man who has done something major to support it. His name is Gabriel Weinberg.
His creation is a real live, legitimate SEARCH ENGINE called DuckDuckGo with no tracking.
Please don’t let your Google fixation stop you from changing.

I have been using DuckDuckGo religiously for over a year now. It is rare when it omits a link Google doesn’t, based on the few side-by-side comparisons I had to do. Highly recommended. Cuts way back on the infestation of ads that pop up uninvited whenever Google detects some potentially profitable interest. Following you like a silent companion everywhere…
